Get McCartney is the project of Michael McCartney, a drummer, engineer, producer, arranger and songwriter. This potent combination has come after a lifelong pursuit of music. Over this time he’s collected skill, gear, insights, workflows and most importantly, refined an approach and philosophy that centres around both tradition and innovation. 

  • McCartney has been a sought after drummer for live and studio applications. He’s played for some of Australia’s best, including Hollow Coves, Wolfmother and James Johnston. He’s also worked as a drummer under some of Australia’s most notable producers like Konstantin Kersting, Nick DiDia & Oscar Dawson.
